"What Should I Do Now?"
"What Should I Do Now? Practical advice and support following a death" is a new booklet resource that Compassionate Sheffield has been co-creating to support people after someone dies.
This page offers a space for individuals, services and stakeholders to share their feedback about our first draft, or "prototype" of this resource booklet.
We'd really value your feedback
Following a death, there are lots of things to arrange and lots of emotions to work your way through. We have created a prototype booklet that we would really value your feedback on.
The aim of this project is to create a helpful resource that could be given to someone who has recently been bereaved. We really hope that access to this booklet will improve people’s experiences of accessing support, both emotionally and practically, following a person’s death.
Before we finalise the content and send the booklet to print, we’d like to invite you and/or your team to share your feedback on this booklet. Please see details below about the different ways that you can share your feedback with us.
We’ve also included some helpful background information and FAQ’s about this project, via the "Project Info" button below.
If you’d like to be the first to know when we have finalised the booklet, (after learning from everyone’s valued feedback) and receive a digital copy, please click here to send us a quick email and we can add you to the list!
The deadline for submitting your feedback is Friday 15th November.
How to Share Your Feedback
We’d like you to share your feedback in whichever way feels easiest for you. There are three options detailed below.
(If none of these options suit your needs, please let us know and we’ll endeavour to find a way that accommodates your needs).
Is there anything in particular that you’d like me to feedback on?
We are grateful for any thoughts, reflections and feedback you can share with us. Constructive criticism is very welcome, and we’d also really benefit from hearing the parts you do like as well as the parts you might not like. The more you’re able to share with us the better and there are no right or wrong responses. We have a list of questions we’d really value your feedback on, but please don’t feel obliged to answer all of these questions. Please only share with us as much or as a little as you feel comfortable with. The options for sharing your feedback are detailed below.
The deadline for submitting your feedback is Friday 15th November.
Option 2: Paper and Post Feedback
This is similar to the option above, but using a paper feedback form to share your feedback with us and a paper copy of the prototype booklet instead. If you'd like to use this option, please contact Cally, via email or phone Nick Deayton on 07851 240523 to organise posting these paper documents to you. We’ll send you a free post envelope to return your feedback to us.
Please note we only have a limited number of paper copy prototypes we are able to send.
Option 3: Talk to us
If you’d prefer to share your feedback verbally, please let us know and we can book in a phone call or video meeting, where you can share your thoughts and feedback with a member of the Compassionate Sheffield team. If you’d like to book in a meeting, please contact Cally, via email or phone Nick Deayton on 07851 240523 aqnd we'll organise a meeting at a time that suits you.
